After discovering that I could ski without issues at Thredbo, I performed a mad dash from Thredbo to Christchurch, New Zealand, a whole month prior to plan.

After looking at the weather, I headed on up to Mount Hutt for what shaped up to be the best day of the season thus far. Which is great to hear, as it makes me feel like I haven’t missed too much during my recovery.

3:00 powder laps. Yes please.

Despite it being a sunny, powder filled Sunday it was also the busiest day that Mount Hutt had ever had. The lines were atrocious but thankfully the single line moved surprisingly quickly.
